A short visual novel created for the 2025 Spooktober game jam. This is the first game I've developed on my own (aside from the sfx and music); feedback is greatly appreciated so I can improve in the future!

This game in particular is more like an intro to the whole story. If I continue with it, I plan to make the full game an RPG in Gamemaker 2.

Hiiii, I just played your game! And it's pretty interesting so far! The lore is creepy, alongside those balloons! I felt for poor Mallory, bless her heart. ;w;

One thing that might make the game harder, is if you made the timer count down faster maybe. But other than that, The timed choices made me afraid I wouldn't pick the right option in time sdkvbjskvksvj

This game and story has great potential, and I wish you the best of luck should you make the sequel! :>

Sincerely,
   Your Neighborhood Sparkles

I got the bad ending first lol

The little sweat droplets/expressive details added to the phone sprites were a really nice touch to help convey emotion with a character that essentially cannot physically show emotion to the player :) I think that Mallory has a really good design also with the cool S on her shirt/the arm warmers. Great job! :D
